Zonta Australia provides a framework for a collective voice of three Zonta districts across Australia – District 22 Ltd (clubs in Queensland and Northern New South Wales), District 23 (clubs in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania) and District 24 Inc (clubs in News South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory).

Zonta Australia encourages Zonta members to cooperate across district borders and engage in advocacy at a national level and works to enable discussion at a national level by forming alliances with key stakeholders and partners.
Zonta Australia has a role to:
- Deliver this advocacy according to Zonta International’s mission and Biennial Goals;
- Establish relationships between Zonta and national bodies;
- Work with three districts across Australia to be a collective voice for Zonta; and
- Listen to and consult with districts about their advocacy priorities and consider their inclusion into a national advocacy activity.
Zonta Australia will promote and publicise Zonta International priority programs and campaigns and work in collaboration with similar National Zonta bodies. Examples include:
- Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women and Girls
- Advocating for Gender Equity
- Zonta Says Now to Gender-Equal Climate Change
- Zonta Says Now Australia
