What Zonta Australia Does

Zonta Australia encourages Zonta members to cooperate across district borders and engage in advocacy about issues of significance for women and girls at a national level. It seeks to engage with national stakeholders and partners.

It works to ensure that decisions and positions are aligned to the Zonta International mission and Biennial Goals and to establish relationships between Zonta and national bodies.

The Zonta Australia Committee has a key role to connect international and district advocacy issues and priorities by:

  • regular updates to Zonta International and
  • regular updates to Districts and Club Advocacy chairs

Zonta Australia will be a trusted voice and source of information at the national level.

Zonta Australia provides a framework for a collective voice at national level for three Australian Zonta District – District 22 Ltd, District 23 and District 24 Inc. Overall this represents 200 Zonta Clubs with over 2000 Zonta Club members
